B-R Controls is proud to have been appointed as distributor of Neo Monitors for Australia. Monitors is the Norwegian manufacturer of the LaserGas range of gas and dust monitors based on tuneable diode laser (TDLAS) technology. First introduced in 1995, Neo Monitors LaserGas analysers utilise a technique referred to as "single line spectroscopy", which eliminates cross interference from other gases and yields extremely low detection limits, often to ppb level. The TDLAS instruments are the preferred choice for a broad range of applications within process and emission control. Gas concentrations can be measured in stacks, ducts and reactors, extractive measurements and across open paths. Today Neo Monitors are the largest commercial supplier of TDLAS gas monitors, with instruments installed in more than 45 countries.

Neo Monitors was founded in 2003 as a subsidiary of Norsk Elektro Optikk AS (NEO). Norsk Elektro Optikk is one of the principal Norwegian research companies in the field of electro optics. NEO is involved in research projects with industrial partners or research institutes, aiming for further development of LaserGas monitors and new solutions to gas measurement challenges. Norsk Elektro Optikk introduced the TDLAS technology to the market and now has thousands of LaserGas monitors installed worldwide. TDLAS is a well-proven and reliable technology for demanding industrial applications. Neo Monitors is committed to market the gas and dust monitors developed by NEO and to provide service, and support, to our customers and distributors world-wide. The NEO Monitors LaserGas range of Tuneable Diode Laser (TDL) Analysers undergo continuous development to maintain their technological edge and unrivalled detection limits.
LaserGas III.
The new LaserGas III analysers include the latest technology for in situ oxygen and HF measurement. NEO Monitors LaserGas III oxygen analyser is specifically designed for service in hazardous areas. Based on Neo Monitors third generation LaserGas electronics, the entire instrument is build into compact flameproof enclosure suitable for Zone 1 (ATEX certified) and division 1 applications. The LaserGas III O2 consists of transmitter and receiver units that are mounted diametrically opposite each other on stacks, ducts or reactors. The LaserGas monitors can be applied for process and stack monitoring / control in the most industries, including oil & gas, petro-chemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, minerals & mining, steel, aluminium, power (incl. biogas), fertilizer, cement, food & beverage. The TDLAS technology employed in the LaserGas range has the following key features:
