Anton Paar Beer Monitor

Anton Paar's new In-line Beer Monitor is the result of more than 10 years experience in on-line brewing monitoring and control. For the first time, Paar's proven density and sound velocity technologies are available in one compact, economical transducer: the new DSRn 427. Combined with the mPDS 2000 controller, the new In-line Beer Monitor measures alcohol, extracts, and degree of fermentation accurately, continuously, and reliably.

Highest possible accuracy

Combining the density and sound velocity in one transducer minimizes temperature effects and allows for the most accurate compensation due to variations in the degree of fermentation.

One compact transducer

The new DSRn 427 measures density, sound velocity, and temperature on-line accurately and continuously, and with the same reliability you expect from all Anton Paar products.

Very easy installation

The transducer connects directly to the main line through a VariventTM or Din 11851 (milk thread) fitting. No pumps or restrictors are needed.

Low CO2 influence

Combining density and sound velocity measurements in one transducer minimizes the influence of varying CO2 content. For complete compensation, a CO2 monitor can be connected to the mPDS 2000 via one of the 4-20mA inputs.

Factory adjusted

The DSRn 427 is fully factory adjusted. Slight deviations between laboratory and on-line measurements are easily eliminated and stored in the mPDS 2000 during normal operations. Once a correction for a specific beer is saved, it only needs to be recalled the next time that beer is processed.
