Anton Paar On-line Original Extract Monitor
The Extract Monitor is used for the accurate on-line extract measurement at the lauter tub, brewing kettle and after the wort cooler and the measurement of apparent extract at the fermentation tank.
Sound velocity sensors are preferred for extract / Plato measurements because the cleaning procedure is simpler. The sensor head is cleaned using hot water from the spray nozzle. When extremely high accuracy is required, density sensors can be used.
