Applied Analytics
On-line UV, VIS and IR Spectrum Analysers
Raising bar high — Applied Analytics have been supplying "state-of-the-art", low maintenance process analysers and sampling systems for over 15 years.
Applied Analytics supply a range of on-line analysers that utilise UV, VIS and near IR spectra to analyse both liquid and gas process streams for a range of contaminants in petrochemical, chemical, power generation and minerals processing industries. Analysers and their applications include:
- OMA-300/OMA-517 — Multispectra UV/VIS/IR analyser, applications include monitoring of metal ions in process recovery streams (e.g Co, Ni, Cu, Fe), heavy metal contaminants (Hg, Pb).
- TLG-837 — Stack gas analyser for H2S, SO2, COS,CS2 (Claus Sulfur Recovery)
- ASA-400 — Ammonia slip analyser for monitoring deNOx (SCR) process
- ChromaSpec-IR — Concentration Monitor via IR detector, applications include ppm level water analysis, CO and CO2 monitoring, detection of methane (low level) and high concentration
- OIW-100 — Oil in Water monitor, 0–20ppm and 0–200ppm for dissolved and undissolved oil
- H2S-220 — Low level–high level H2S concentration measurement
- TDL-506 — Oxygen measurement
Advantages of the Applied Analytics instruments include:
- Well known UV/VIS/IR method of analysis provides on-line instantaneous results
- Commonly used lab method - can validate measurement results easily
- In-situ sampling available through dedicated probes or via flow through cell
- Accept wide range of sample process conditions (Temp: -50–300°C, Pressure: 0–200bar)
- Many analysers contain no moving parts - robust and reliable
